8th Purley Fundraising
8th Purley Scout Group is a charity and relies on fundraising to support the Group, to pay for the maintenance of the Scout Hut and the equipment we use.
We raise funds in a number of ways, including:
- Spring Fair and Jumble Sales;
- sponsored activities;
- grant applications;
- collecting tokens such as Sainsbury's Active Kids vouchers;
- the Scouts Christmas Pantomime.
Fundraising is generally organised by the Executive Committee with the assistance of parents and helpers.
How You Can Help
All parents and guardians of Group members are automatically part of the Support Team and are asked to help out wherever possible, whether serving teas and coffees at fundraising events, or being a regular active fundraiser. Everyone can help in some way, so please do!

We are now collecting Sainsbury's Active Kids vouchers to exchange for games and equipment for the Group. Please ask friends, family and neighbours to collect too!
