8th Purley (St. Mary's, Sanderstead) Scout Group
Welcome to the 8th Purley Scout Group website.
The 8th Purley Scout Group is an active Scout Group in Purley with a Beaver Scout Colony, a Cub Scout Pack, and a Scout Troop. We welcome both boys and girls into all sections. We also have close links to Purley Oaks Explorers, who are based in our HQ.
All sections meet regularly at our Headquarters in the grounds of St. Mary's Church, Purley Oaks Road, South Croydon. See the map to see where we are!
We welcome new members into all sections at any time. We also welcome adults into Scouting, whether as helpers or Leaders. Please contact us for more information.
We have an active Executive Committee who organise a number of social events and fundraising events every year, including an Easter Fair, a jumble sale, quiz nights, race nights and so on. These are great fun for parents and the children. All parents and members are invited to all events and you're more than welcome to bring friends and family too!
