8th Purley Group News & EventsSainsbury's Active Kids VouchersWe are now collecting Sainsbury's Active Kids vouchers, which we can use to get new games and equipment for the Group. Please ask friends, family and neighbours to collect for the Group too! Please can you put all vouchers in the collecting box in the entrance lobby in the Scout Hut! More info ... Purley Swimathon - Congratulations To Our Swimming Team The team of 2 Cubs, 4 Scouts, 2 Purley Oaks Explorers, 1 Leader and our Chairman (who showed of by swimming one full length under water) swam a total of 117 lengths of Purley Pool in 55 minutes, smashing last years record by 8 lengths. Please return your sponsor form and money to your section leader. We hope to raise about £400. If you have not got a sponsor form but would like to show your support please give any donations to your section leader. Valentines Dinner, Saturday 19th February 2011, 6.30pm to 10.00pm St. Mary's Church Hall, St Mary's Church, Purley Oaks Road, South Croydon We are having a Valentines Dinner for all the family, with a sit down 3 course dinner, quizes, dancing, teddy bear auction, raffles and a lot of fun!
